About the Ostalb Alliance against Human Trafficking
and (forced) prostitution
The Ostalbkreis is the first district in Baden-Württemberg with an active alliance against human trafficking and (forced) prostitution and is a pioneer and thought leader! Together with citizens, we want to achieve a social rethink and educate people on a broad level through active public relations work and numerous campaigns.
The alliance was founded in 2018 on the initiative of the Soroptimists of the Ostalb district. Together with the official representatives of the three large district towns of Schwäbisch-Gmünd, Aalen and Ellwangen and the district, represented by the district administrator, as well as numerous citizens and institutions.
